Real business life is tough. Good and bad experiences will all help in your carrier. First thing for you is to listen. Remember and learn. Never cry. Smile and be positive. Learn from your managers and peers what is good or bad behavior. Write down a do/don't list for time when you'll be a manager. Keep only the good behavior and replicate it to people around you. Will make you happy and respected.
What was your personal experience of working with British American Tobacco?
Fast and dynamic. 13 years and 7 jobs. I'm trying to keep a self discipline in my carrier. I thought from beginning that knowing the business is essential. I've started from TM&D and jumped in Brands to meet the consumers. Merchandising and Retail are helpful to know your partners and how the business can be visible and efficient. I had an unique experience to manage Brands from Regional perspective and live and work in Globe House. Corporate Affairs is a magic place where you can combine all the business know-how you've got, from field to brands. Perfect match of aspirations, driven by a disciplinary list of personal objectives. That's me.
